Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the Property RenoEnvision website and engagement with our renovation planning and estimation services.

1. Estimates and Planning Ranges
All pricing shown on the P.R.E. Pricing Planner and throughout this website represents good-faith planning ranges based on typical Hamilton-area project costs. These are not fixed-price bids or binding quotes. Final pricing is confirmed only after a site walkthrough and written project agreement.
Planning ranges are provided to help property owners, landlords, and investors understand realistic budgets before committing to a consultation. Actual costs may vary based on property condition, material selections, layout complexity, hidden issues discovered during work, and confirmed project requirements.
2. Deposits and Payment Schedule
Deposit requirements and payment milestones are outlined in each individual project agreement. Standard terms include:
- A deposit to secure scheduling and order materials
- Progress payments tied to project milestones
- Final payment upon project completion and walkthrough approval
Specific percentages and amounts are confirmed in writing before work begins.
3. Change Orders
Any scope change beyond the quoted range requires written approval before work proceeds. Approved changes adjust both price and timeline accordingly. P.R.E. will not proceed with additional work or material upgrades without documented client authorization.
This protects both parties from unexpected costs and ensures every dollar spent is agreed upon in advance.
4. Warranty
P.R.E. provides a workmanship warranty on completed projects. Material warranties are per manufacturer specifications. Specific warranty terms and duration are confirmed in each project agreement.
5. Permits and Inspections
Where building permits are required, responsibility for permit applications and associated costs will be clearly identified in the project agreement. P.R.E. works with licensed trades for all regulated work including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation terms, including notice periods and deposit handling, are specified in each project agreement. Deposits cover scheduling commitments and materials already ordered on the client's behalf.
7. Limitation of Liability
Property RenoEnvision's liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the total amount paid under the applicable project agreement. P.R.E. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms or related services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
9. Website Use
